What to expect

Pregnancy is a deeply personal time... we all have differing journeys, stories and experiences. Perhaps you're looking to move and exercise your body, perhaps you'd like to take a break from your thoughts and relax your mind, perhaps you'd like to connect with your baby, or meet other pregnant women... Pregnancy Yoga could be just the tonic!

We can offer you beautiful pregnancy classes during this precious time, as you await the arrival of your baby. With a focus on easing you through yoga stretches in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, preparation for labour and breathing practice - these classes are designed to help you build strength, confidence and feelings of wellbeing.

A truly safe space to rest, relax and meet other like-minded women. You do not need any yoga experience, adaptations are offered for all poses to ensure you feel safe and comfortable. Pregnancy classes are suitable for beginning students and experienced practitioners. We also run 4 other pregnancy-friendly yoga classes per week.

  • "Thank you for all the support and advice I've had through our pregnancy yoga sessions. I definitely needed my strength and willpower during labour and continuing with yoga to the end of my pregnancy has really helped with my upper body strength and core for feeding since he's arrived. The work you do to bring women together and help us feel prepared and confident is really special - thank you!"

  • “What can I say about the pregnancy yoga classes with Steph? I can’t recommend it enough! From the lovely setting and atmosphere in the studio overseeing the sea, to the friendly advice from Jo beforehand, and the lovely sense of belonging you feel as soon as you walk into the class. It is just all perfect. This class is the right combination of exercise intensity and the calming effect of mindfulness. The class has quickly become the best time of my week, helping me both physically to adapt to my ever changing pregnant body, ease my anxiety and help me relax after a busy working week. I couldn’t be happier!”

  • "I thoroughly enjoyed pregnancy yoga classes at Jasmine Yoga - the setting is unrivalled with the sound of the waves and the views from the studio. Even without that though, the relaxing environment and lovely smell of incense made me feel focussed on me and my baby during the classes. I also love that the classes have options for everyone's ability and stage in pregnancy. I can't wait to try some other classes. Thanks Steph!"

  • "The pregnancy yoga classes definitely helped me to prepare both mentally and physically for birth, and I found my recovery post birth was quicker than with my first child. I have found Steph's classes to be a welcome and tranquil place to be."

Meet the Team

  • Hi, I'm Stacey!

I've has been practicing yoga for 10 years and teaching for 4. I initially trained in Vinyasa Flow in India and I'm constantly in awe of the path yoga takes me on.

I'm is a new(ish!) mam of a beautiful 9 month old boy which has led me to train in Fertility and Pre and Post natal Yoga and she can honestly say this is what I'm meant to be doing. Witnessing women through the most magical time in their life and then seeing them with their babies truly lights me up. I see Yoga as a powerful tool for connection, connection to ourselves, our bodies, our purpose and to each other and she's grateful for the journey it has and is taking me on and grateful to those who allow me to walk alongside them on theirs.

  • Hi, I'm Steph! Thank you so much for checking out our Pregnancy Page. I am a Yoga Teacher, Prenatal, Postnatal & Baby Yoga Teacher, and Children's Yoga. Teacher.

I am also mama to two vigorous boys, who keep me running around when I'm not practising yoga! On a personal note, I gave birth to my youngest in 2020 during lockdown, so I empathise with some of the emotions that may surface being pregnant during Covid times.

I completed my Pregnancy Training with Sally Parkes Training and I am committed to nurturing pregnant bodies during this unique time. I recognise that pregnancy journeys vary a lot... mine certainly did! But I strive to support and empower women to feel strong in mind and body, ready to embark upon this brand new adventure.
